OBAMA AND BONO'S AWESOME LITTLE SECRET, OUT

On a BBC talk show over the weekend, U2 frontman Bono admitted to purposly dodging a hug from President Bush at the 2006 National Prayer Breakfast. The snub went unnoticed, or so thought. Bono sat beside then Senator Barrack Obama at the event. According to the rock star, Obama leaned over and told him "nice work with the hug dodge."

Bono claimed disagreement on many political issues was the reason. Now, Bono has done a lot of good. He's a very powerful activist with his hands in a lot of stuff. None more so than AIDS in Africa. Which makes this "I'm cool cause I dished Bush," moment ironic.

President Bush sent more money to the Africa AIDS cause than any other president in history. He tripled funding. You'll never see Bush on a ONE.ORG commercial or on the cover of a Rolling Stone magazine without a liberal bias headline...but it's true. So, Bono - suck up your PRIDE and show some class. Put some ELEVATION in your shoulder and give the man a hug. Maybe your shades were so dark you couldn't see the high road. Maybe you were STUCK IN A (hate Bush) MOMENT YOU CAN'T GET OUT OF. Regardless...your childish move to WALK ON was stupid. 

As for Obama congratulating you on this - liberal VERTIGO. I guess it was just the hip thing to do at the time in Chicago politics (besides being crooked).
